2012 Hot Color!

A surprising new hue has been named "color of the year" for 2012.  It has been appearing in all industries and may already be familiar to you.  Are you ready?  Introducing "Boyz-N-Berry", a deep, rich purple with slight red undertones, essentially it has become the mainstream purple.  Classic and elegant, this hot color also emotes a young spark.  It shows a changing mindset in todays social atmosphere, exuding the unconventional, spiritual, meditative, yet impulsive ideals.  It is serene, calm, yet in-control.  It is so 2012!

• Purple is the natural complement to yellow which is the underlying color of the new lighter wood tones.  It also makes a wonderful accent color for spaces that have yellow shades which are prevalent in many laminates and vinyls.
• A warm taupe coupled with purple will invoke a feeling of trust and serenity.  (Yellow and purple is said to be the most healing combination).
• Creams and whites added to purple can create a sense of fresh openness.  Whites constitute a large part of the color story representing the consumer "need" for cleansing and renewal.
• Grey paired with purple and cream completes the understated elegance.   Pop it with brighter hues for a youthful appeal.

Updating your color  doesn't need to be a bank breaking adventure.  It can be as simple as altering your signage color, point of purchase brochures and packaging.  Packaging is the simplest way to change a color story.  You can change tissue paper and bag colors quite easily.  Add a decorative ribbon, label or gift wrap.  Adding the right color can soothe and inspire your clientele into a more positive retail experience that will enhance both their shopping experience and your bottom line!

Move and Shake! Get Your Name Printed on Bags-It's Easy, Find Out How

Branding your name on Kraft Paper shopping bags has never been easier!  At GoGoPak, we offer 2 post-printing options.  Post-printing simply means, printing that is done after the bag is made.

Hot-Stamping is a process which transfers your image on to the bags using a foil (either metallic, gloss or matte) using heat and pressure. There are a couple of benefits to using hot stamp printing, one is the luxurious finish of the metallic foil options.  These metallic options can easily change the perceived value of a natural kraft bag which is value priced to be that of a high end product.  The shine of the metallic also makes people give the bag a "second-look".   Another benefit, is that, unlike ink, the foil colors, whether they are metallic, gloss or matte, print solid images. In other words, hot stamp foils lay down on top of the bag surface opaque.   Whereas, ink will absorb onto paper surfaces and the color intensity is not as rich. Ink Printing is a very cost-effective way to brand on your bags. 
Results vary depending on the material on which the ink is over-printed.  Unlike hot-stamping foils, which lay down on the printed material solid, true representation of the pantone ink color can only be achieved when printing on white bags.  When printing on kraft bags the ink color, particularly lighter colors, will alter as a result of combining with the darker background of the kraft.  We always recommend using dark inks on lighter background options for the best results.  If a color combination is not suitable, we will advise.  Click here for a complete list of available ink imprint colors.

Multi Colored Ink Printing, 100% graphic coverage, including printing in the side gussets is available by quotation.  This type of printing is done on the bag paper first, and then the bag is converted.  The minimum is 5000 bags per size.
